my name is lexi and i started a clothing brand in 2020.
The name Serotonin LA comes from Serotonin — the “happy chemical” — which contributes to wellbeing and happiness in your body. I certainly need more of that.
My designs were an attempt to capture how I saw my hometown of Los Angeles: radiant and sun-soaked to outsiders, yet layered with a more complicated, countercultural undercurrent.
Five years later, I’ve moved to NYC, grown older and (debatably) wiser, and evolved my designs to reflect how I see the world today.
